Mr. Stauber’s students have been learning about Newton’s three Laws of Motion. To demonstrate their understanding of these concepts, they were given the chance to build a device that would enable an egg to survive a 18 ft drop. The students' devices were designed to absorb the force of the impact and slow down its speed by building makeshift parachutes.

NLRHS Junior Students participated in the Leadership Renaissance hosted by the NLR Chamber of Commerce.  Students participated in several classes hosted by different business and community leaders.  The day long meetings throughout the semester gave students the opportunity to work on their leadership skills along with interview and soft skills.  Giving back to the community is also an important part of the program.  Thank you Chamber of Commerce for this opportunity for our students.
