Our plan is to still have our in-person graduation ceremony, set for Saturday, July 25 at Barton Coliseum at 7:00 p.m. However, our ability to do so still depends on Governor Asa Hutchinson's directives on large gatherings and the possibility of moving into the next phase. More information will be available at the end of this month. We thank you for your patience and understanding.

Take back of NLRHS school items is well underway.  Drop off for the rest of the week is Tuesday & Thursday from 3-6 p.m. and Wednesday & Friday from 9-12 noon.  AP students who are still taking exams may turn their items in on Tuesday, May 26 from 9-12 noon in the front office area.   Please have your student check emails from purtlem@nlrsd.org in regards to any debts from books and you may check fines in mypaymentplus found on the district website www.nlrsd.org under the parent tab.  Taking care of those items before you come to the school would help save some time.   Also, while your student is checking their email, there is one from drakej@nlrsd.org describing the location areas.  Going to them in order will prevent back tracking.

Dear Class of 2020, First, we want to let you know that this decision has not been made lightly. With every piece of new information regarding Covid-19, we have considered the ramifications on Senior Activities. The Governor announced yesterday that school buildings will be closed for the remainder of the 2019-2020 school year. For this reason, we have decided to postpone all senior activities until further notice. This includes Senior Breakfast, Senior Walk, Prom and Post-Prom. Currently, there are no specifics for Graduation. At this time, we hope to focus all attention and resources on providing quality education and support for NLRSD students and community. Sincerely, Cassie Rogers & Courtney Taylor NLRHS/COE Student Council Sponsors

To our NLRHS Community,As you have probably heard by now Governor Hutchison has closed all Arkansas public schools until April 17, meaning regular school hours will resume on April 20.  Spring Break officially begins on Monday, March 23 and ends Friday, March 27.  New online lessons will not be posted during this week.  To help facilitate learning after the break, plans are underway to make Chromebooks available on March 30 to those students who need them.  Comcast is offering two months of internet to qualifying families at no charge.   We are being asked to make plans quickly and to make some difficult decisions.  Please be patient as the situation evolves.  As of yet, we do not have definite answers about any of the already scheduled senior activities including Senior Breakfast, Prom, and Graduation.  Stay well! #sixfeetapart #socialdistancing

Instead of naming a “Player of the Week,” the coaching staff and seniors chose to give the game ball to Coach Jonathan Calvin and to dedicate last Friday’s game to him. Coach Calvin’s father passed away on Friday, and he was unable to attend the game. Our thoughts and prayers are with Coach Calvin and his family. Our Charging Wildcats defeated the Cabot Panthers, 37-36. This electrifying game marked the end of the regular season. Next up is playoffs! The team has a bye week and will be gearing up for a matchup against the winner of the Springdale Har-Ber versus Little Rock Central game. Let’s go, Charging Wildcats!
